Plasiax™ Wire Georgian Wire Effect Polycarbonate
The latest addition to the TBS range of glazing plastics is Plasiax™ Wire 6mm solid UV Georgian wire polycarbonate, the perfect alternative or replacement to Georgian wired cast glass. Where applications require today's safety standards and keeping a traditional image, this product cannot be beaten! A grid pattern is etched into the surface creating a wired glass alternative that is lighter and easier to handle while visibly, there is no difference. Another similar product alternative is reeded glass. Reeded glass is an older decorative glass that has flutes running along it in various thicknesses and has recently come back into retro and industrial contemporary design where obscure screening panels are used. Again, Plasiax™ Wire is a much easier product to work with and creates a great alternative to its glass predecessor. Uses include; vertical glazing, replacement 'Reglit' glass, architectural glazing, overhead roof glazing, interior effectual glazing, interior design, replacement glass shelving and a host of other varied uses.

We utilise a 600 ton press which has the capability or cold forming up to 10mm Polycarbonate. excellent for guards, screens, folded drip edges on glazing and canopies or structural bends on vertical glazing.

We specialise in edge routing, and are able to create any type of shaped edge. Most common is radius routing and chamfering, this produces a safe edge, perfect for wall mirrors, screens and exposed edges.

With 6000mm x 2100mm cutting capability. Quick and efficient with accuracy down to 0.1mm ensures consistent and accurate material cutting.
