Extruded Acrylic
High quality extruded acrylic sheet ideal for a wide variety of industries, it offers excellent thickness tolerance and is extremely easy to vacuum form, making it ideal for applications where complex shapes are required.
Benefits of PERSPEX® Acrylic Sheet
Versatility
Acrylic sheet is extremely versatile and can be used for a wide range of applications. If you need help moulding or fabricating your Perspex Acrylic, ask us for a recommendation.
Weather Resistant
Acrylic sheets have an excellent resistance to UV rays and most Acrylic ranges we stock have a 10 year external warranty, meaning the material will not discolour or degrade over time.
Lightweight
A 2mm thick Acrylic sheet weighs 2.4kg per m2, whereas a 2mm thick sheet of glass weighs 5kg per m2. However, glass of the same thickness as acrylic doesn’t have the same strength so to achieve the same strength, glass would be a much heavier alternative.
Recyclable
Acrylic sheet can be recycled all the way back to its raw monomer.
Acrylic Sheet Cut To Size
We offer acrylic cut to size service to match your specific requirements. Let us know your dimensions, thickness, edge radius, whether you’d like the edges polished and if you require drilled holes and we’ll do the rest. We also have in house CNC and Laser cutters for any shape or size.
The maximum acrylic sheet size we offer is 3050mm x 2030mm.
Acrylic has a high level of strength and is available in a range of finishes, this makes it ideal for a range of applications and uses, including:
- Display cases and units
- Shelving
- Glazing
- Illuminated panels
- Kitchen splashbacks
- Shower panels
- Signage
- Retail displays

Acrylic vs. Polycarbonate
We stock both Acrylic and Polycarbonate sheets. When it comes to choosing between Acrylic or Polycarbonate it’s simply a matter of assessing the material properties against the application.
For example, polycarbonate has a much higher impact resistance than acrylic sheet, with polycarbonate 250x stronger than glass and acrylic about 17x stronger than glass. Making polycarbonate a go to solution for safety glazing, machine guards and street furniture where a high impact resistance is required.
Acrylic is manufactured in a wider range of colours, so when a colour specific material is required, acrylic would be the material of choice.
